March 8, 2017 – live in the world

Live in the world – not of it.

During our lifetime we have taken on ideas, thoughts and behaviors that reflect our surroundings, our parents, family, school and society at large.

Have you asked yourself to what extent they reflect you?

Are you still to some extent living your life according to values and unwritten rules that when it comes down to it rather belong to someone else?

If so, can you see that it could be what stands in way for you to fully blossom and come into your power?

It can give a sense of security to be like “everybody else”, to think, do and be like “everybody else” – but we are all unique and when we give ourselves permission to be who we truly are, what makes us special is brought out and we become an individual instead of being just one of many in the big crowd.

To let go of that which do not belong to us is a reoccurring theme in a spiritual life as spiritual development is not about becoming somebody else but to become who we really and truly are and the only thing that needs to be done is to release that which stands in the way.

This week has a focus on the ideas and notions we have in regards to time, control, money and how to be productive – are the values and opinions that you hold in alignment with the insight of who you are, or do they rather mirror the opposite: a materialistic world view where the only thing and all that exists is what can be seen with the naked eye and where limitations and separation are basic concepts and perceived as truth?

Are you yourself considering that to be the truth, deep down and to some manner even though you know better.

When you live as who you truly are rather than whom you have been conditioned to be, you will experience more joy, freedom and a larger sense of security than what you believe is possible. When you let go of that which you believe is what makes you secure, all those outer things that we hold as the basis for our security in this world you make way for real security: knowing who you are and to live in integrity with that gives you access to all that you need, in every instance that you need it.

It can seem like utopia – but to release and peel away all the layers covering up your true self and to eventually stand free of everything that does not belong to you is not an over night happening – it’s a process, a journey with its ups and downs, ins and outs and stops on the way. Just because you have not reached your destination yet, it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.

As you come into your own and power you will more and more be experiencing that that which you need when it comes to worldly goods will come to you at the exact point in time that you need it without you having to plan nor control.

The only thing that you need to do is to become and be who you truly are, and the rest will follow.

Have a wonderful week!
